“I didn’t know I wanted to be a medical doctor until my 2nd year in college. To add to that, I had just moved to this country so it was a brand new experience for me. I also wasn’t aware of the criteria needed to get into medical school, the importance of timing, the importance of community service, volunteer work and so many other things. It was a struggle which I’m glad to move on from and I know you will too. So I guess my thing is moving on in faith with what you have. Knowing your chances and doing the best you can with what you have.”
