About The Mentorship Program
As part of our mission, our goal is to help train the next generation of healthcare professionals in providing more compassionate and effective care, and to help them develop them the skills necessary to become future leaders in healthcare to lead the way for the development of practical healthcare initiatives. Our mentoring program is the result of a collaboration with Long School of Medicine and UIW School of Medicine to mentor incoming pre-medical students to help them achieve their goal of attending medical school.
Goals of the Program:
- Have fun!!!
- Provide one-on-one mentorship to pre-medical students.
- Provide resources to students interested in a career in medicine for the San Antonio area such as panels and written resources.
