“My love of science began in elementary school with a project about the human brain. I set out to major in neuroscience during my undergraduate years. It wasn’t until I became involved with clinical research in pediatric psychology, that I knew I wanted to be a physician. Working with children in a clinical setting as well as during my time at The Painted Turtle camp for children with life-threatening and chronic illnesses solidified my interests in pediatrics. After undergrad, I took some time off to work, as well as gain clinical experience in a primary care setting. I am first-generation college student and navigating the undergraduate years and applying for medical school I faced many hardships. I am excited to be a resource and help guide prospective medical students during their journey.”
